As many of you know, our mission is to provide quality training in the sport of track and field in an environment that encourages academic success and prepares each athlete for advancement towards secondary education in athletic competition! With your help and the support of our volunteer coaches and parents, we CAN and WILL make our vision a reality… year after year. In our 6th outdoor season, we have seen phenomenal growth in membership and impressive local, regional and national success. Over 28 of our athletes have qualified to compete in the 2010 Junior Olympics in Sacramento, California, July 27th through August 1st. At Regional Competition last weekend, Future Stars Athletes earned a total of 31 medals (12 Gold, 10 Silver, and 9 Bronze)! The Challenge is to raise $4,000 by July 25th – that’s 3 days to support our Future Stars Travel Fund. Our parents and athletes have raised $12,000. Help us reach our goal of $16,000! Most of our athletes, who range in age from 9 to 18, need some financial support to attend nationals. Others need full scholarship. This championship is what these athletes have worked hard for all season… some starting as early as January of this year. Their success also encourages others to excel at this level. Please be generous and help by donating $10 or more via credit/debit card or check towards this travel fund and athletic scholarship.
