Who is "Proppa Ezrakation"?

Real name is Leslie "Ezra" Smith, born and raised in Pittsburgh , Pa.

Former member of The Steel City Slam Team (competed in Chicago in 2003)

Member of Middle East , Hip Hop group.

Has appeared in many theater productions such as: Seven Guitars as "Canewell", Dark Cowgirls and Prairie Queens as "Cowboy James", Jelly's Last Jam as "Buddy Bolden", Sing Black Hammer as "Carter" for Kuntu Repertory Theater, Hoodwinked as " Wayne ", The Holding Cell as "Curtis" for the Pittsburgh Playwright Theater Company, and most recently Freeman as the title character for New Horizons Theatre.

Has performed Spoken Word at many venues such as: The Shadow Lounge, The Quiet Storm, Club Café, The Rex Theater, and The Brillobox in Pittsburgh , Pa. Also, The Patti Hut in Atlanta , Georgia , Bohemian Caverns in Washington , DC , The Black Banana in Philadelphia , Pa. , The University of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon University, and The Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Flexible schedules created due to an individual's school and/or work and family schedule Through writing exercises, speech development classes, practice open mic sessions, attending a variety of performances to take notes and discuss what was learned and how to apply what's learned to the individual's growth in writing and poetry performance, meeting Spoken Word artists and attending workshops.
