THE NORTHSIDE CENSUS
We're building a shared community vision for the Northside, including all of its 18 neighborhoods. We're doing that by reaching out to homes across the community to hear what residents have to say. We are currently conducting a community-wide, community-driven census designed to gather broad input across all Northside neighborhoods.
A few things to know and why are we doing this? Outcomes of this survey will be used to better support the people who live, work and visit the Northside. Your responses will inform improvements in our schools, in our communities and for the people who call Northside home. Your input will help to shape new offerings and projects across our community.
What will be done with the information you provide? Your privacy is completely respected and valued. Your community census answers will be compiled with others to create a statistical understanding of the challenges, needs and resources in Northside neighborhoods.Your personal information will not be shared without your permission, and will never be sold under any circumstances.
Several of the community census questions relate to resources and opportunities offered by local organizations, such as volunteering in a community garden, joining a job training program, or enrolling your child in healthcare coverage. If you indicate an interest in these opportunities, you will be offered the option of giving permission to connect with local organizations offering resources and opportunities specifically related to your community census answers.
Who is supporting this initiative? The One Northside initiative is supported by the Buhl Foundation in collaboration with community leaders, residents and organizations from every neighborhood in our community.
